About us
The Analyst Group
The Analyst Group builds independent research brands for public markets where the work still has to be done by hand.
Public markets are full of companies, sectors, and listings where the available information is technically public but not yet understood. A filing may be available. A prospectus may be hundreds of pages long. A company may report every quarter. But the real work is turning disclosure into judgment.
We build publications that sit in that gap: between what companies disclose and what investors, operators, and serious readers can actually understand.
Our research brands focus on IPO prospectus reviews, industry surveys, public company initiations, and updates on the companies and themes we cover. The work starts with primary filings and moves toward the questions that matter: how the business works, where the cash flows, what the valuation implies, and what could break the thesis.
We are not trying to tell readers what to buy. We are trying to give them the work: transparent sourcing, clear reasoning, multi-scenario thinking, and a direct account of the risks and failure points. When the data is ambiguous, the work should say so. When a simple story is too simple, the work should show where it bends.
The Analyst Group is built around independent research and education. Our publications are not advertising vehicles, sponsored research, or banking products. The point is to create room for clear judgment: work that can be questioned, checked, corrected, and held to a consistent public record.
The SEA Analyst is our first regional platform, focused on Southeast Asian listed companies and market themes. Company-level work remains on The SEA Analyst, while The Analyst Group highlights selected regional-level insights from its subsidiaries.
The long-term aim is global: a family of independent research brands applying the same careful, business-first approach to public markets across regions and sectors.
